| Essential Responsibilities: | Information technology (IT) is critical to the future of GE. With nearly 11,000 IT professionals in roughly 50 countries, GE IT represents a major area of focus and investment across the company and is essential to maintaining our leadership, competitiveness and success. As a pipeline for future leaders of GE’s world-class global IT organization, ITLP has partnered with Indiana University to deliver continued education in technology, project management and leadership. ITLPs are enrolled as Indiana University graduate students and complete a 15-credit IT Leadership Certificate over the two years. This includes in-person classes inside and outside of the U.S. and 9 credits of IT electives. The job assignments and training are designed to enable participants to use their information technology experience to drive some of GE’s strategic business initiatives. Each assignment and training experience is global, providing the potential for international travel, working with colleagues from around the world, and make an impact on products and services that make the world better.
