Role Summary/Purpose: This critical leadership position leads the Canadian operations of GE Oil & Gas. The role reports directly to the President & CEO, GGO Canada and functionally to the GE Oil & Gas North America Region General Manager.
Essential Responsibilities: *Lead the growth and profitability of the Oil & Gas business in the Canada region.
*Responsible for financial performance of a growing $800MM+ USD region. Metrics include orders, sales, contribution margin, regional base cost and cash.
*Provide executive leadership to a matrixed team of 600+ employees across multiple Oil & Gas sub P&L’s located throughout the region.
*Provide region leadership and communication of the Oil & Gas solutions.
*Identify incremental organic and inorganic growth opportunities and develop strategic and operating plans to support growth.
*Establish clear goals and objectives for region operating team.
*Identify and promote technology programs to address market needs within the region.
*Manage cost, quality and operations.
*Ensure compliance. Drive a culture of transparency and integrity.
*Lead GE operating rhythm for region, including strategic planning, annual operating plans, talent and organizational development (People Review) and compliance and integrity.
Qualifications/Requirements: *Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration or related field.
*10+ years of progressive leadership experience
*Team builder with positive outlook.
*Exceptionally strong customer service mindset.
*Excellent leadership, communication and analytical skills
*Demonstrated leadership in a matrixed, global environment.
*Strong business and commercial skills.
*Proactive, with excellent planning skills.
*Proven experience in attracting, developing and retaining talent.
*Commercial experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
