Role Summary/Purpose: The GE Energy Connections Junior Officer Leadership Program (JOLP) is a source of leadership talent for GE. In this program you will draw upon your leadership skills, education, and previous experiences as a top-performing, Junior Military Officer (JMO) to solve complex business problems and develop and execute objectives for yourself and others.
Essential Responsibilities: GE Energy Connections JOLP is an industry-leading development program for Junior Officers transitioning from Military Service. The JOLP is a 2-year rotational program that provides you with broad business experience and exposure through three eight-month rotations. Rotation locations include Houston, TX; Philadelphia, PA; Plano, TX; Charlottesville, VA; Atlanta, GA; San Ramon, CA; Raleigh, NC, Richmond, VA; and Niskayuna, NY. The program focuses on building leaders for various functions, including:

  • Engineering
  • Cybersecurity
  • Field Services
  • Project Management
  • Quality
  • Supply Chain / Manufacturing
  • Sales and Commercial Operations

In addition to the rotational assignments, you will participate in curriculum-based training focused on leadership, product, and financial acumen required to be a successful GE leader.

You will be expected to learn rapidly, take responsibility for, and perform in a series of challenging roles where you will be able to quickly make an impact on the organization. You will be expected to adapt to gain situational and organizational awareness in a dynamic business environment, and add value in your assigned role.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 4 years of commissioned service
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Willingness and ability to relocate, as needed
  • No more than two years since separating from the military, waiverable if due to pursuing higher education
Additional Eligibility Qualifications: GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
