| Role Summary/Purpose: | |
| Essential Responsibilities: | - Translate concepts, develop strategy and implement change - Create programs responsive to external environment - Participate in cross-functional business and cultural development - Provide technical consultation and leadership during the design process - Provide leadership and guidance in the design review process, as well as presiding over formal design reviews - Review customer specifications and translate customer specification in to order instructions for manufacturing of control valves. - Promote division wide initiatives related to design quality and reliability - Provide technical mentoring - Lending experience / knowledge to help solve technical problems - Disseminate lessons learned across design organizations |
| Qualifications/Requirements: | - Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or Physics from an accredited college or university - Minimum of 10 years of experience in an engineering capacity - Considered an expert in a specific engineering discipline of experience in control valve or instrumentation - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills - Leadership to pursue correct engineering process in adverse conditions - Able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization - Strong verbal and written English skills |
